Younès Ben Slimane

Younes Ben Slimane was born in 1992 in Tunisia. He lives and works between France and Tunisia. His training as an architect deeply influences his artistic practice. Working with film, video, drawing, and installation, he establishes an ongoing dialogue between architecture and the visual arts, focusing on craftsmanship, materiality, and spatial memory. His work has been shown at the Zaha Hadid Foundation (London), Galeria de Arte Cinemática (Vila do Conde), documenta fifteen (Kassel), Mucem (Marseille), Biennale de l’Art Africain Contemporain (Dakar), and the Wexner Center for the Arts (Ohio). He has participated in residencies at Villa Medici in Rome, Raw Material Company in Dakar, and the AlUla Arts Residency.
